One of Maryland’s most charming and historic small towns, Berlin boasts locally-owned & operated art galleries, antique shops, restaurants, and fashion boutiques. Another wonderful feature of Berlin’s Main Street is the Farmer’s Market, held every Sunday during the summer season (May - September). Berlin also hosts multiple outdoor festivals throughout the year, including the Berlin Peach Festival, Berlin Oktoberfest, Small Town Throw Down, and so many more. You will find that no matter what season you choose for your visit, Downtown Berlin is teaming with fun events and activities.

Wild horses, miles of uninterrupted pristine shoreline, and breathtaking sunsets are just a few qualities of Assateague Island National Seashore. Situated a quick 15 minute drive from The Inn, we highly recommend allocating at least one full day to enjoy Assateague. The most incredible aspect for a lot of visitors is viewing the wild horses (from a distance!) that freely roam the coast, and enjoying the equally spectacular surrounding nature. Assateague has a variety of activities for everyone including: kayaking, biking/hiking, nature watching, sunbathing, surfing, sunset bonfires and plenty more. We would be happy to prepare a cooler filled with lunch, snacks & drinks to bring on your day trip to Assateague.

If you’re craving hot & salty Thrasher’s fries and gorgeous Atlantic coastline views, visit the iconic Boardwalk located in nearby Ocean City, Maryland.
